The YogaQuest difference

At YogaQuest, we roll out our mats like at other Twin Cities yoga studios, but that’s pretty much where the similarity ends. We’re known for our narrated yoga classes that mix fandom with fitness, but we offer more traditional classes too. Either way, at YogaQuest you get yoga classes created by gifted storytellers that will have even the staunchest hobbit ready to embark on an adventure!

Fanfiction storytelling + yoga = A hilarious good time

The original 60-minute YogaQuest class format blends your favorite fandom with Hatha yoga. A certified yoga instructor guides the physical practice while a narrator takes the class on an epic, and often ridiculous, journey through a popular fandom. Move through the story by following a yoga routine designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. And expect to laugh--we love yoga, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

Theme-based yoga classes

At YogaQuest, we believe in the power of story as a guide. In addition to our fully-narrated fandom classes, we also offer more traditional yoga classes that are built around a theme like fostering self-compassion or how to use ancient yogic practices to beat the winter blues. Classes are an hour long.

Yoga for everyone, Padawan to Jedi Master

Experienced yogi or new to your mat, experienced athlete or just getting started, YogaQuest has a class for you!

What to bring to yoga class

Bring a yoga mat if you have one. If you don’t have a mat, we have one you can borrow. You’ll probably also want a water bottle.

We need whimsy. I need whimsy. And that’s what that’s about really, YogaQuest. Putting some whimsy to the yoga and bringing it to a community of people.
